HAD to show off some photos from the beautiful collection of Baby Sophia Selene Laura Grant, the adorable daughter of Miss Jessica Kooger. I fell inlove with this little girl. She is definitely the most peaceful baby I have ever been around. She smiles so much, and looks around as if she knows is exactly what’s going on, she’s quite the little easy-goer. Much like her mother, she is absolutely stunning, with the biggest darkest eyes that made every photo pop! Her mother dressed her up in frilly tu-tu skirts and flower headbands, which complimented the scene with a fashion-forward style that I know Sophia will carry on once she’s older, much like her momma now :)

The difference between photographing a child and just taking a picture of a child is this: I didn’t photograph selene every second that I could. I took a moment to watch and observe and waited for her to give me the moment to capture her instead. Those are the moments that make the viewer pause and actually look at the brilliant photos of children, in which their innocence of life and true character really shine through.
